British Invasion: Day 15

Today, I went to Baker Street and then to Charing Cross.

The end.

No, I'm kidding and talking seriously at the same time.

I bought a Spanish exercise book, but I don't want to stay away from Spanish much longer. As soon as I got home, I practiced one unit. YAY!

My mum went to the Post Office and we asked for our National Insurance Numbers! Which is amazing and I hope that I get a job really soon.

I was thinking about being a Nanny. The children love me and, if you have patience (which I have - A LOT) they can be amazing human beings! What do you think?

I finished Part I of Mansfield Park yesterday, and I decided to start reading City of Ashes because, you know, it's Cassandra Clare *_*

I also gave an English lesson to my mum. I teach English too, even on Skype (which is pretty amazing, because I have to do all these beautiful Power Point presentations).

I got a reply from EAT regarding my CV Application (yesterday - they replied in less than 24h) but I didn't get the job. :(

It rained a lot today. We had left our umbrellas at home, so we had to buy new ones (but they are so adorable!)

British Invasion: Day 13

I woke up really early to go to a job interview. Infortunately, it didn't go as I expected. My outfit was really beautiful, though:

As "revenge" I went to Waterstones and bought two more books: Insurgent and Beautiful Creatures. I didn't take any photos of the books (sorry), but I'll show you on the post of Day 14.
And, this bookshop also has a Costa café, so my mum and I had a nice cup of coffee (and beautiful, too):

And then, we had time to see the National Gallery, only the outside, but it is so amazing and beautiful and magic!

British Invasion: Day 11

Today, our goal was finding a bookshop. So we visited Leicester Square. For those who have never been there, let me say that it is Times Square like we see in the movies, but in a British and elegant, full of live way.

Yes, that is a M&Ms Shop.

Then, we got a little lost, but still enjoyed very must the classical architecture:

We stopped at Charing Cross to lunch. I had an iced moccha and ate a red velvet at EAT.

We found a bookshop, called WaterStones. I have to say that it is pretty amazing, with good books and incredibly organized. I saw the Doctor Who books, Sherlock Holmes, The Vampire Diaries, some Nora Roberts, a lot of Philippa Gregory's and Harry Potter! The secction of ESOL was really good and it had a lot to choose from.
I bought one book that I wanted very much, but I read the 1st book of the series last year and I fell in love with the story: City of Ashes, by Cassandra Clare.
Now, I can't wait to finish my Jane Austen´s book and start reading City of Ashes.
